Andy and Candina (CJ to her friends) run the cafe in Sea Palling in Norfolk and asked me to be their wedding photographer on their big day. On arriving at the hotel we started with some bridal prep pictures of CJ’s dress, shoes and flowers plus some getting ready shots.
During the Winter months it’s always quieter on the weddings front so it’s the time of year that I do most of my training for the season ahead. Earlier this week I travelled up from a very wet Norfolk to Beverley in Yorkshire to attend a 121 session with John Denton.
John is a wedding photographer who also shoots a lot of model portfolios so I was keen to explore how his style of photography and post-production techniques could be integrated into my regular wedding work. We had some fantastic (and gorgeous) models over the two days and covered a range of lighting styles from natural light to off-camera flash and video light.
