Rob & Kate’s wedding Magdalene College Cambridge
I made my first foray into Cambridge a few weeks ago for Kate & Rob’s wedding at Magdalene College. It’s a fantastic setting and the ceremony was held outside (another first for me). Thankfully the weather was a little drier and warmer then than it is at the moment.

Gareth & Emma’s wedding Caister Hall Norfolk
Time for another blog from a July wedding. Gareth and Emma got married towards the end of the month in that transition period when we went from scorching sun to wind and rain. We had both extremes on the day but thankfully the rain only fell in the morning before things really got under way.
I caught up with Emma in the morning in the rather cramped surroundings of the Holiday Inn in Norwich. The fact that I was working around a hairdresser, makeup artist, bridesmaid and Emma’s mum in a room not much bigger than a double bed made the photography even more of a challenge! The room however did have a nice clean colour scheme so I shot Emma’s wedding shoes on the headboard of the bed.

Robert & Emma’s wedding at The Old Rectory, Great Melton, Norfolk
The last of my marathon July weddings saw me attend the wedding of Robert and Emma who were married at Little Melton church followed by a reception at The Old Rectory in Great Melton. I began with shots of Emma’s dress, shoes and flowers at her house in Norwich before moving on to the church at Little Melton to catch up with Rob and his groomsmen.

Robert & Claire’s wedding at Dunston Hall Norfolk
As I sit and look out of my studio window at the wind and the rain, the long hot days of July seem a long way away but Robert and Claire got married on one of the hottest days of the year so far back in mid July. I’ll start with a few shots from the bridal prep taken in their converted mill in Halvergate.

Rowan & Amanda’s Wedding at Bressingham church and Gissing Hall Suffolk
July has been an absolutely crazy month with nine weddings shot and in the can (although I’m still frantically processing a couple of the weddings shot towards the end of the month) and right in the middle of the month I photographed the wedding of Rowan and Amanda at Bressingham Church in Norfolk followed by their reception at Gissing Hall in Suffolk.
