Mike & Jo-Anne’s Wedding Assembly House Norwich

Mike and Jo-Anne were married at the end of January at the Assembly House in Norwich following a hectic few weeks of preparation. Mike is in the Royal Marines and the wedding plans had to be scheduled around his regiment’s training requirements which weren’t known until the last minute. Just to add to the fun a holiday in New Zealand was also booked for a couple of weeks before the big day so pre-weeding meetings were booked in on the way to the airport!

On the day itself everything ran like clockwork. I arrived for the usual bridal preparation shots an hour or so before the wedding to photograph dress, flowers and some shots of Jo getting ready.

New portraits website launched

I’ve been really busy behind the scenes recently changing my branding and updating all my websites and blogs (more to come on this later). Part of this exercise was to ensure that I had a dedicated website for my kids portrait business so that brides didn’t have to sort through portraits of children and vice verca. This has finally gone live and can be found at the following address :

www.johnharrisportraits.co.uk

I’d love to know what you think of it and constructive criticism is always welcome.

If there are any parents out there who’d like to arrange a photoshoot either in the studio or at a location of their choice then please get in touch.

New Look to John Harris Photography

The eagle-eyed amongst you may well have noticed some changes to my branding recently. The old ‘JH’ logo has served me well for the last couple of years but I felt it was time to update things with a slightly brighter and fresher look and feel. The new logo has brighter colours and features a peacock feather as its central motif, the symbol of vision, refinement, guidance and protection.

Over the coming weeks and months you will see this gradually being rolled out across websites, blogs, stationery etc. I also have a new portraits website going live soon (more on this in a future posting) and updates in the pipeline to my main blog and wedding website to bring them more in to line with the look and feel of the new brand. Hope you like the new look.
